Workshop on Future
Direction in EC
The workshop had two sessions
as follows:
Session 1: Wednesday 4:10-5:10 pm
Session 2: Friday 3:00-5:00 pm
The bulk of the workshop
was in the form of discussions, but was be kick-
started with several presentations to provide "a random but ordered" set of
ideas for the meeting. The short academic and industrial presentations
include:
1. Muti-objective optimisation (Kanpur GA Lab, India)
2. Industrial perspectives (BT Future Technologies Group, UK and
Natural Selection Inc, USA)
3. Solving for Complexity (Complexity, Interaction and Adaption
Group, Australia)
4. Intelligent Control (Centre for Intelligent Control, Singapore)
5. Knowledge Mining (IKMA Laboratory, UK)
