Purpose


There are so much more opportunities for CI adaptation in many industry applications, and overall industry acceptance of CI is still in its infancy. This Task Force aims to assist with the introduction of CI principles and related technologies into the marketplace, presented to industry as a short-term practical solutions.

  1. We are developing an implementation plan for the ECTC white paper “A Practical Model for Evolutionary Computation Market Introduction”, presented and discussed in a panel session during the 2006 World Congress on Computational Intelligence.

  1. This panel session was held while WCCI’08 in Hong Kong, aiming to illustrate the manner in which academic researchers can work with industry whilst maintaining a fundamental research base and ensuring that such base benefits from industrial collaboration.
